This is kind of a “best of some of the early stuff.” Under Triple Moons has previously released but hard to find material culled from Premonition, Chemical Playschool 1/2, Kleine Krieg, and Traumstadt 2, all cassette-only releases from the early ’80s. I always preferred their earlier stuff (Brighter Now being my favorite), so I’m thrilled to see this released. Primitive electronics bend to the wills and visions of these unique innovators, creating strange yet charming songs that surge feelings of melancholy and nostalgia for me.
