Comics about little kids never interested me, until I got a kid of my own. Now I’m intrigued by just about anything that seems to portray kids’ behavior – I think of it as reconnaissance. If Patty Cake is anything to go by, I’m in for a wild ride. With illustrations in style of John K. (Ren and Stimpy), this issue has three distinct stories, one somewhat educational, one about hilariously mean-spirited revenge, and a fairly straightforward portrait piece about Patty’s first train ride.
