Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Fit To Be Tied
Mercury
This year’s greatest hits release from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, which includes a couple of songs not previously available. Since everyone who is “cool” is into Joan Jett, we all know the hit list by heart: “Bad Reputation,” “Do You Wanna Touch Me?,” “I Love Rock ‘N Roll,” “Cherry Bomb,” etc. Well, they’re on this album. As are “Light of Day,” “Victim of Circumstance,” “I Hate Myself for Loving You,” “Crimson and Clover,” and “Fake Friends.” There’s also a fun version of “Love Is All Around,” which, as you know, is the theme to The Mary Tyler Moore Show. There’s one new song, “World of Denial,” which is so great, I hope it takes over commercial radio by storm and brings back some rock and roll over the airwaves.
And, finally, there’s a totally bitchin’ Mind Engine CD-ROM enhancement that gives your a guided tour of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts history that makes this CD definitely worth having and toying with. Or simply just cranking up some great rock and roll.
