Rule the Heart

Kevin K

Good, solid guitar-oriented rock from the Kevin K Band. Okay, Kevin, who are you? You put almost 20 songs on this CD and clearly you’re a great guitarist, and you like the faster, hard-driving power chords. I really dug “Crime Scene” and “My Little Backyard,” as I could get into their fast-paced, upbeat sounds. I really liked the whole album, it was reminiscent of good hard rock and roll, the kind you could make a fortune on in the mid-80s, provided you grew your hair really long and wore leather and cowboy boots. Plus you sing about New York City (“St. Marks Place”), so what’s up? Tell me more! Oh, and I liked the ethereal “Repent,” with its dreamy keyboards and interesting beats, too. High quality rock and roll. Kevin K Music, Ste. 108, 9061, U.S. 19 N, Pinellas, Park, FL 33782
