The Bomboras

Organ Grinder

Dionysus

Who knew there was still great surf music being made in California? I sure didn’t. At least, not until I happened to catch the Bomboras opening the bill on the Cramps tour a few weeks ago. I was completely blown away by the band’s raucous energy, edgy surf guitar power, and spooky organ riffs. Their latest record, Organ Grinder, is a good sample of what the band’s all about. It’s filled with the same aura of excitement and fun that made their live show such a blast. Tracks like “Take a Chance,” “Ilene,” and “Night Rider” are sure to have you shimmying along like the go-go dancers that adorn the stage for their live show. If you like to dance, or just want to have a good time, give the Bomboras a spin. You’ll be glad you did! Dionysus Records, P.O. Box 1975, Burbank, CA 91507; bomboras13@aol.com
