Natural Spring Water

Product of Australia

At first, I simply walked by the end-aisle display. Sixty-nine cents for a bottle of spring water isn’t exactly eye-catching. Thinking about it, however, made me retrace my steps for a closer inspection. You mean to tell me that this liquid can be extracted from whatever source in Australia, bottled, shipped halfway across the world and distributed to your local supermarket – for less than 69¢? I expected to see small type saying something to the effect of “From Concentrate,” but there really is no explanation here that can justify the price of this exotic water. Has our world become that small?

As to the taste… it’s spring water. Drink up.
