The latest in the Summit Audio tube arsenal is the MPC-100A microphone preamp/comp-limiter combination, a single-channel unit featuring two separate tube stages for each of the preamp and comp-limiter functions. The MPC-100A also features a uniquely designed microphone preamp section that sounds transparent due to a stepped attenuator, which attenuates the signal while simultaneously stepping the tube feedback.
