Traitors

Traitors

Johanns Face

I picked this up for the Born Against inspired layout and the Steve Albini recording credit. The first listen or two had me a bit disappointed, but this grew on me pretty quickly after that. It always takes a few listens to separate the crap from the good stuff when it comes to fast punk rock bands. The Traitors belong in the good stuff category, delivering 15 quick blasts of angry punk on this CD. The Born Against comparison is fairly obvious, but they’re not necessarily derivative. This band probably rocks live. Johann’s Face Records, P.O. Box 479-164, Chicago, IL 60647
