Interference

Wax Trax!

Wax Trax! was DOA after Black Box, and many would argue that it happened long before. The smartest thing they’ve done is to put out Interference. It ground my brain into pulp servable as Spam at any supermarket. I had to grab Ashtrayhead (Mark Heal’s side project) just to remember that it’s possible for him not to destroy my head. Bashing beats well above 180. The guitars blare out with such machine-like chaos they leave you in a state of feedback. Ever wanted to feel obliterated? Put on some headphones, turn it to 11, and listen to Interference. I only have one question for the guys: how in god’s name did you get Heal to sound like Duncan X at the beginning of “9:59”? Send me the tour dates. It’s the best industrial I’ve heard in a long LONG time with guitars. HELL YES! Wax Trax! Records, 1657 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, IL 60647
