Diana Froley

Pet My Kitty Mr. NYC

Skoda Records

I’ll not try to deceive you, I was not a big fan of Diana Froley’s previous album, You’re Not Broke, But I’m Going to Fix You. But within the first few bars of her new record, Pet My Kitty Mr. NYC, I was hooked. An obvious maturation has set in, molding Ms. Froley into a voice to be reckoned with. Her new record is packed with sixteen tracks of wry folk songs, very much in the Victoria Williams vein. But Diana Froley has found her own voice, and I for one like it. Skoda, P.O.
