The Dingees

Armageddon Massive

BEC Recordings

Good old punk rock about the bad things in society, like being on drugs, idiots with easy-to-use and dispose of technology, guns, and setting cities on fire.

The Dingees’ excellent command of punk rock vocal harmonies makes songs like “Chaos Control” and “Workin’ Man’s Blues” shout out “this is punk rock!”

Half the record is interesting punk-ska, with plenty of horns that carry the melody right along with the power chords! Ska fans should like “Bullet Proof” and “Could Be Worse.” “Rebel Youth” sounds like an old Specials song! “Betrayal” is a haunting mix of ska and Middle Eastern pop… I’m amazed that snotty punks can play this kind of music! This is impressive. “Carry On With the Countdown” is destined to be a classic for the Two-Tone crowd!

For those of us who are into what Murphy’s Law and other bands that are equally capable with punk, hardcore, ska, dub mixes and reggae, Armageddon Massive has to be on your list this summer. BEC Recordings 810 Third Avenue, #140-20, Seattle, WA 98104
