Although numbering eighteen, there’s really only nine tracks on this disc. Odd number tracks have no names and are puffy narrative reflections. Even number tracks do, and come together in a pleasant and twisty harmonious ensemble. The Loud Family borders on Beatles dissolved into a solution of Jethro Tull-ish cool acoustic riffs, honky tonk piano and grinding chord progressions where applicable.
