Mudhoney is arguably the best band to come from the Seattle scene. Of course, they are one of the few remaining ones that are still putting out interesting music. While the early singles and Superfuzz/Bigmuff will never be duplicated, this CD should still please the fans. The opening track, “A Thousand Forms of Mind” recalls the early years, as well as “Oblivion,” and “Real Low Vibe.” Mudhoney has never sacrificed their sound or integrity is search of that big hit. This might serve up any big hits, but with guitar music such as Rob Zombie and Rammstein receiving airplay, there is no reason that these guys should not get the respect they deserve and get some.
