Q-Burn’s Abstract Message

Feng Shui

Astralwerks

In the beginning, there was Oeuvre : a tease of an extended EP designed to pique the interest of the receptive ones out there. Bulls-eye. Now for the much-anticipated full-length follow-up… containing nothing from the EP. Q-Burn obviously has more good material than he knows what to do with, which is lucky for us. So what DO we have here? Feng Shui – the neo-hippy art of “everything here must have its place.” Q-Burn demonstrates where he belongs, as a great pillar of potential in the temple of Hardkiss sound. Our Orlando homeboy frolics in experimental electronica with the Icelandic Palli Borg of Gus Gus on a couple of tracks blended into this concoction of phat funk and mellow jazz grooves. Pardon me while I rearrange my furniture to harmonize with the universe.
