Lando’s 45

Four Songs

Harmless

Lando’s 45 features ex-members of the Bollweevils and Thirty Seconds Deep, and not surprisingly, plays thrashy punk with pop overtones. What sets Lando’s 45 apart from the blazingly fast punk set is that it tightly packs in a near-overload of energy, a logical follow-through but one that most punk bands can only flail in vain for. Even when the band gets a bit poppy (“Only One and Only”), it doesn’t sink into the po(o)p-punk morass. Hardly original, but recommended for fans of the genre.
