VivaVoce

Hooray for Now

Cadence

I truly can’t explain the mixing of sounds that Viva Voce seems to protrude on this album, Hooray for Now . There’s the heavenly female vocals, the hard hitting drum beats, and damn hard rocking guitars. With all of these things in mind, it’s hard to imagine they’re jamming for God.

Out of Tennessee, this foursome are out to praise the Lord through some fat-ass songs. If you get your hands on the record, skip straight to song #5, “Heartstring.” The music constantly starts and stops while the lovely voice of the angel that is singing can be heard clearly.

Don’t let the Jesus thing fool you. The music is almost hardcore; and if there’s a deep-seated “praise the Lord” message, I didn’t hear it.
