I can’t count the number of times someone told me “this is Ean from Sicko’s new band.” Take that as you will; this is a collection of a dozen pop gems that only the Pacific Northwest seems to be able to produce. Simple without being stripped down, this is on par with the Young Fresh Fellows at their finest, or perhaps the Mr. T Experience’s Dr. Frank after a few glasses of heavy red wine. The clap-along chorus of “Olympia” will have you, well, clapping along, and I couldn’t get the chorus from “Winterstorm” out of my head for an entire holiday weekend.
