Drunken Fish

Atman (“featuring Anna Natcher”) is a Polish grab-bag of ethnic instrumentalists. The six members of this group create what the Drunken Fish people accurately describe as “paleo-delic ethno-folk forest music” – a dizzy mixture of acoustic sounds that sound global without pinning themselves down to any particular geographic location. Check out the tribal rendition of Hendrix’s “Third Stone From the Sun” for a familiar touchstone, then get ready for an hour-long organic trance.
