Paint By Number

Hefty

This goes as far as to give colors, rather than names, to the songs. Six tracks, covering the spectrum (hah) of thoughtful guitar compositions, so engrossing as to eliminate any thoughts of vocals as a possible addition. The intensity of attention to detail is almost overwhelming, and in that manner it reminds me of the Mercury Program. The closing “purple” does quick somersaults between guitars and bass and drums, taking frequent stops to catch its breath and try again.
