Nocturnus

Ethereal Tomb

Season of Mist

Hey, do you need a break from all the hyper speed metal out there? Take a listen to Nocturnus. Moving at the speed of, say, Six Feet Under, Nocturnus manage to deliver the goods. This is the same band from way back – I guess like 4 of the 5 original members weren’t doing anything at the time, so they put this album together. It’s pretty good, but I just have to be in the right mood to tolerate this. The vocals aren’t too far from Chris Barnes but without all the nasally screams. This is great background music for vacuuming, pressure cleaning the roof, or mowing the lawn.
