So, You Think It’s Hot Here?

Polyvinyl

This is completely uninteresting to me. The music is bland. It comes off as an emo-ish band trying to make the foray into poppier, more rockish territory. That’s not a journey I’m necessarily adverse to, but this just doesn’t catch my attention in any way. This has all the flavor of notebook paper. Ultimately it’s the lyrics and vocals that kill this for me, though. The lyrics are painfully insipid and the delivery contrived. Geez, I don’t even like the layout on this!

I know there are people who like this band a lot. I just don’t get it.
