Teenagers Film Their Own Life

Third Gear

Valvola is an Italian trio, and while Teenagers Film Their Own Life is a reissue from 1996, the mood of the album seems to stretch back much, much farther back. Utilizing the finest in antiquated analog technology, Valvola produce a sound that is equal parts Spaceman 3 and Scenic — vast landscapes of moody space rock, the kind of music you want playing in your spacesuit on your first spacewalk. Oscillators, Eko guitars, distant vocal crooning… prepare to adjust orbits.

Third Gear, P.O. Box 1886, Royal Oak, MI 99068
