I Love My Computer

Rephlex

Indeed she does love her computer, and it sounds like she has since the early ’80s. The first six songs are soundtracks for imaginary video games that are explained a bit in the liner notes. I can see the block figures chasing each other around the colored block architecture to this music. The rest of the tracks are intended to be more song-like, I suppose, but they still sound like they ought to be hidden on some video game cartridge that’s collecting dust in some thrift store, waiting to be discovered again.
