Gladshot

Frankly Mills Music

Even though I loathe the term, I can’t think of a better descriptive than “roots rock” for the band Gladshot. Although they focus on tight songwriting, they could still be mentioned along with bands like Blues Traveler, Hootie and the Blowfish, or Dave Matthews Band. They could certainly find the college and festival crowd quite receptive to their sound with the jangly melodies and the singalong lyrics. Songwriting, singing, and producing team Mike Blaxill and Debbie Andrews have created a record that although fits into a niche, is hardly a bland clone.
