Sisters Robyn and Jennifer Celia weave some luscious vocal harmonies with their band Lava Baby. While far from unique with their brand of pretty pop, these girls sell it well and keep you from over analyzing their sound, which is a plus, as there is not a great deal of substance to the songs. Lava Baby is a band that embraces style over substance. Their songs may be the musical equivalent of cotton candy, but that’s okay, we all enjoy a little junk food.
