Acoustic Hootie? I’m not sure if I can do this release justice. Smooth grooves that flip from laid-back and be-cool to minimal pop tunes that just glide over still waters. Music to play on a rainy day, make those girls cry, let ‘em come to you so you can wipe the tears from their eyes. Slick and sometimes melancholy. There’s some kinda silly bits in the lyrics, and it ain’t quite Soul Train material, but there’s a pleasant vibe.
