Edna

Spacious

Solana

When I first pulled this disc out of my bin, I thought it was a new record from the punk band Ednaswap. Instead, it’s a new band called Edna. Spacious is a fun, if not terribly consequential album. Edna’s songs are somewhat reminiscent of Lush, and a female Asian singer/guitarist isn’t going to help that comparison to go away. If you’re a fan of alterna-pop with a slightly female persuasion, then certainly check out Edna.
