Pistol Whipped

Too Much Excitement

Beluga

Fairly well drawn indie rock that moves through the paces from upbeat to mid-tempo to mellowed out pop. Indie pop rocks that snap and crackle in your mouth with some delightful Unrest like guitar movements. This trio, mixing female and male vocals against rough edged drums, makes me think of Velocity Girl at times, but then they sing into this old X style country touched ballad, and I’m pleasantly surprised. Still, when they rip out the guitars and just do their own pistol rock… that’s what makes me happy.
