Neve

Self-Titled

Columbia

Are you ready to rock? This major-label act falls somewhere between the more enduring catchiness of bands like Third Eye Blind and less-remembered label signings like Pluto. If these guys are lucky, you’ll be hearing them played too many times on college and – what’s that word? – alternative radio stations around the country. If they aren’t lucky, though the music is tight, the vocals are smooth, and the energy is good, you’ll be coming across this CD in every used bin you browse through. Sometimes the hooks aren’t good enough, though Neve has plenty of nice ones. Sometimes you need to be careful who you sell your soul to.
