Travelcard

Beggars Banquet

SFT is Simon Fisher Turner, and this is his album. We start out with a dirty electric groove and slight whisperings… like gothic scratchings at a screen door under machinery skies. The sounds are sparse and rhythmic, broken but solid. Repetitive, but dynamic. Like Einsturzende Neubauten doing a disco remix. Moving from slow and almost ambient, to a more techno tribal sound, this Travelcard is a ticket to a voyage across soundscapes both dark and light. Oceanic and mountainous. Harsh and distant… soft and right next to you, almost touching.
