Dan Bryk

Lovers Leap

Scratchie

Cute and quirky pop straight outta Canadaland, including a guest appearance from Moxy Fruvous. Sad on the piano sometimes, and happy strumming the guitar. Moving from solo songs to more upbeat full band jams, Dan Bryk concentrates on the songwriting and the singing Sometimes reminding me of a not quite so silly Daniel Johnston, with a stronger tie to an indierock buzz. Thanks in the liner notes include Guided By Voices, Sloan, and Tahiti 80, so you can already sense a cute pop feel that ties all the songs together.
