The Big Bright Lights

Take Manhattan

Mud

Almost psychedelic touched pop rock here, but it moves out with strong indie sensibilities. Sometimes the guitars hit with the power of a sixties almost-metal band, but the vocals tie the songs more into right now. This band does dive into the epic mellow song at times, like the eight minute long “Nova,” but the mellowness and mood just envelopes you, lets you drift for awhile, before crashing back into some strange indie stoner groove. Sometimes shoegazing, sometimes rocking, but always with a hand holding something beautiful.
