Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash

Walk Alone

Ultimatum

This band definitely has some ties to “The Man in Black,” at least in a musical sense. The songs are strong, heading through some authentic country twists, and the voice reverberates a strength that brings to mind some of the sounds of the past. There’s a Dale Watson cover and a nice rendition of Merle Haggard’s “Silver Wings” mixed in with the rest of the originals, and if you’re a fan of real country, and can’t find much good new stuff, definitely check these boys out.
