Shut Eye

A four-song EP from this Atlanta based power-pop quartet that is lean and taught with plenty of hooks and little filler. While it may be pop, these guys leave the raw edge on the guitars and maintain a rhythm section that propels the songs forward. On the opening track, “Crashdown,” the band bristles with energy, while on the third track, “Go Home,” they slow down a bit with a song that is reminiscent of The Replacements. A nice EP for fans to listen to while they finish up their next full-length album, due in the fall.
