Death By Chocolate

Death By Chocolate

Jetset

Imagine if a band like Black Box Recorder decided to play really happy music, throwing away all the suicide songs and singing instead about candy. If this happened, they’d probably change their name to Death By Chocolate. Sweet sixties electronic groove tunes with a touch of beach blanket psychedelia swing out here. The songs are occasionally broken up by spoken word bites about sugar and color, which makes you feel just cute. This whole album twirls and skips with cute, but it’s not too much. For dessert, this helping is just right.
