The Rembrandts

Lost Together

J-Bird

This garage band became a household name when “I’ll Be There For You” was adopted as the theme song for the TV show Friends in 1995, and then took a three year break from each other. Now after not making music together for quite awhile, Danny Wilde and Phil Solem offer us Lost Together. Most of the songs on the album are mediocre, but “Too-Late” has some promise of hit ability. Their sound is a cross between The Beatles, Phil Collins, and Tom Petty – not exactly something you hear every day, but it isn’t unique enough to fill a specific niche, either. The writing is okay, and if they discover an edge, they’ll have a better chance at album number three.
