Session 9

Original Motion Picture Score by Climax Golden Twins

Milan

Most “horror movies” jam their soundtracks with the likes of bands ripe off of the Ozzfest tour, but when you have a movie such as Session Nine, a movie that goes so far beyond “horror” you must have a soundtrack that also transcends fear. It’s trivial to add metal and violent rap, it’s easy and it fits well, but in Session Nine, it would prove to be breaking. So, as with the movie, the soundtrack is an exploration. It isn’t music in the sense of words and fast beats, but more like emotional sound. It’s not New Age, although it is very transfixing. It’s odd, but lovable, very much like Session Nine.
