The No-No’s

Let Your Shadow Out

Animal World

The No-No’s have been around for seven years but have toiled in the shadow of Pacific Northewst heavyweights like Sleater-Kinney and Bikini Kill/Le Tigre. With their new CD, Let Your Shadow Out, perhaps they will emerge into the bright light they deserve. Led by the engaging vocalist Robin Bowser and fueled by Heather Lee Dunn’s skins The No-No’s produce some of the catchiest pop-punk tunes around. But hold on there. Do not make the mistake of writing this band off as “cute.” They may have fun, but they can also rock your world.
