Lula

The DJ, the Music and Me

* 69

Lula, here, is a house diva with a dominatrix Marlene Dietrich drone that’s fairly seductive. This single is remixed six different times by John Creamer and Stephane K, Hiram Reve and Hector Fonseca, James Andersen, Curtis Atchinson and Erik Reyes, and Rainer Prototsching. Each re-do is deep and percussion-dominated and something that will get you on the dancefloor. Though James Andersen’s mix is my favorite, none of them give you radically different visions of the song. It doesn’t matter, though. You can dance to them all.
