On A Noose

TVT

On a Noose is typically riotous Brit punk from a band slated as the next big thing in the UK.

The self-proclaimed “punk rock stars” live up to (or should that be play up to?) the anarchic reputation of their idols when trashing gigs and ending up in police cells, and “On a Noose,” their debut single certainly ticks all the tiresome punk clichés of the genre. Snotty vocals, rabble-rousing call-to-arms lyrics and a recycled riff are all in evidence here, but no one seems to have told Towers of London that actually, it’s not 1977 any more.
