Secretly Canadian

For those few of you out there who bought Sebadoh records to hear all the fucked-up attempts at song writing by Eric Gaffney (pre-thrown out of the band days), then this album just might be for you. It actually sounds like someone went through all those albums and picked out every Gaffney song and made a mix tape as a joke. Frightening, yet without the constant reminders from some crybaby dork that he and his endless relationship confessions are what you paid for, this really works well. Note: Neither this album nor this band has any legal or genetic ties to Eric Gaffney. What does all this mean? Fuck if I know, but this is slowly but surely growing on me.
