Flying Saucer Attack

New Lands

Drag City

Flying Saucer Attack claims this to be phase two. And if by reading this you come to expect a great departure from the FSA you already know, you would be mistaken. Songs propelled by bass and drum emerge from the swirls of amorphous feedback as you continue to struggle to interpret what Dave is singing, or you could care less because it’s the way those crazy guitar tones rub up against each other that brings you back. It does takes some patience to wade through the guitar fog to discover hidden melodies and subtextures. All in all, New Lands is consistently more listenable and enjoyable than past releases. Drag City, P.O. Box 476867, Chicago, IL 60647
