Lazy K

Life In One Day

Mutant Sound Systems

Former Basehead guitarist Lazy K conjures up the dawning of Arrested Development with the cheekiness of Super Cat to emerge as a Superfly Spike Lee of ’90s soul. The right combination of slinky guitar, jazzy hip hop, reggae, funk and some shades of Hendrix slyly delivers a pithy social commentary. Lazy K is also a fun kind of guy who knows that the connection between the rap and the blues can benefit from a small tweak of the RPMs to keep the vibes up.
