Strange sounds occur when Download is asked to do soundtrack music. Imagine the most ambient and extreme moments of these collaborators’ past projects reborn even crazier. The most obvious comparisons are to Doubting Thomas, Skinny Puppy, and Download, but all twisted. The compositions range from quiet and hypnotic to tortured noise electronics, with a combination of points touched on in between. Discernibly Key and Goettel, but unlike anything done previously. An intense and amazing soundtrack. I’d love to see the movie this was made for, but this is exciting on its own. _Metropolis Records, P.O.
