Einsturzende Neubauten

2×4

ROIR

I was never able to understand the media’s fascination with industrial music during the height of Nine Inch Nails tenure, often times going so far as to proclaim it as a new “form” of music. Only a handful of popular magazines gave credit to founding fathers of this long-standing genre. Neubauten is one of these founding fathers. Two by Four is a reissue of a cassette-only release documenting the live carnage that only they are capable of displaying. Surrounded by controversy, the destruction Neubauten causes is contained within some book illustrating their history. It’s doubtful any club will ever allow these devils to tour again in the United States for fear of having their venue left in ruins. With that in mind, I would highly suggest picking up this release. It’s as close as you’ll get to the real thing. ROIR, 611 Broadway, Suite 411, New York, NY 10012
