Pipedream

The Journey from Hamburg to Iceland Begins

Futura Black

I’m still recovering from the loss of SWANS even though the last album provided only one track worth playing. But SWANS offered something many bands cannot: the power of live music. Never have I been pushed so far into the realm of euphoria until I listened to Pipedream. Pipedream offer forth the long crescendo of live SWANS like no other band, and do it with their own original flair and style. Only four tracks on the CD, but three clock in well over fourteen minutes. This intense offering is not for all, but for those like myself recovering from the demise of SWANS, track this album down. Hopefully they are out and about and planing a tour. The Struggle for Realism, P.O. Box 93571 Nelson Park, Vancouver, B.C. V6E 4L7
