There is a game I play with ambient discs. I slip off the headphones, place them on the desk in front of me, and try to divine the sound of the song from the chirps and rasps that are barely audible. Then I put the headphones on, and compare notes. Snowboarding in Argentina sounds good, like several other ambient albums. The subtleties of style sometimes escape me in this genre, but I can still appreciate Swayzak’s clean analog sound, rounded and defined.
