Eliza Gilkyson

Redemption Road

Silverwave

There was an ad campaign a few years ago with the tag line: “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.” That is close to how I feel about Eliza Gilkyson. Her record, Redemption Road, is absolutely lovely. Lovely to the point you want to hate it. Fortunately I was able to get past wanting to slap her and actually enjoyed the record. It has that Lilith Fair sound, so proceed with your own sensibilities.
