Nothing but love songs. NY Undercover: A Night At Natalies is the quiet storm brewing on the horizon. It’s the kind of sappy urban pop that rekindles old flames and fans the sparks of desires in lovers of every borough. Granted they drink a hell of a lot of alcohol, but if you lived in a place like NYC you’d want to be in love too. Anyway, this commercial venture may seem overzealous to grumpy star-crossed fools like myself, but it does have its place. Tracks by Mary J Blige, Xscape, Teena Marie, Tito Nieves, Brownstone, 112, K- Ci& Jo Jo, the Barrio Boys, and actor Michael DiLorenzo serenade the lovelorn.
