White Courtesy Telephone

Everything Is Fun

Monster Island

Fuckin’ rock and roll from a bunch of people who sound like they know better. White Courtesy Telephone entertain with their unique sense of humor – “Prison Wife,” “Stephen Walking’s Wheelchair,” “Killing Spree” – while squeezing out some true-blue rock and roll, blazing guitars and all. Do they go too far with their unsympathetic rendition of Clapton’s “Cocaine,” here entitled “Cobain(e)?” Do you feel comfortable with a song entitled “Use Your Hand?” You’re a sick bunch, and you would probably enjoy this. Monster Island, 532 La Guardia Pl. #463, New York, NY 10012
